ISLAMABAD: Amidst reports of his breakup with former Indian tennis player Sania Mirza, Pakistani cricket player Shoaib Malik wed well-known actor Sana Javed.
Shoaib Malik with Sana Javed: On Saturday, January 20, Shoaib Malik posted pictures from their wedding ceremony on social media.
“Thank God Almighty. On his “X” account, the 41-year-old cricket player posted, “And We created you in pairs.”
Before the cricket player stoked allegations of a romance after he wished the actress a happy birthday the previous year, there were already rumours that Malik and Javed were dating. The image of the two was posted to Instagram with the remark, “Happy Birthday, Buddy.”
The 41-year-old cricketer also defended Sana Javed when the Pyaare Afzal actress faced criticism for allegedly acting rudely towards makeup artists and juniors on the set.
“From my personal experience, I can only say that Sana Javed has always been kind & courteous towards me & the people around us. I have known her for quite some time now and have had the opportunity to work with her multiple times,” Malik had tweeted back in March 2022.
Sana Javed altered her Instagram bio to “Sana Shoaib Malik” shortly after the news.
Additionally, Sana Umair Jaswal was Sana’s previous spouse. Towards the conclusion of the previous year, their marriage experienced a tough patch.
However, Social media has removed every trace of couple photos featuring Sana Javed and Umair Jaswal.
