Just like many other countries in the gulf, UAE is also preparing itself for the post-oil World due to depletion of its oil reserves. Amidst this UAE government is leading its citizens. Although these are barely 20% of the total population, from collecting money to earning money. As the matter of the fact, private companies that are operating in UAE has been Insisted. That if their company have 50 employees then 2% employees must be Emiratis. If not consequently they will be fined 6,000 Durham every month for each Emirati.
However, in November 2022 an agency posted a job of Sandwich maker. The Agency fell upon this 2% qouta that eventually led to outrage among Emirati. They protested that either this job is the mockery of governments initiative of 2% qouta. Or on other side a derogatory plan to insult the citizens of UAE. It is interesting to note that 80% population in UAE comes from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh Filipino and many other developing countries. Nevertheless these people work day and night from sweeping the streets of UAE to cleaning the toilets of UAE. Without any guarantee of getting citizenship one day.
