The Night Agent Trailer: An updated trailer for the upcoming thriller series The Night Agent, starring Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan, has been made available on Netflix. Shawn Ryan, the showrunner for Timeless, collaborated with MiddKid Productions to produce the series, which is based on the same-named book by Matthew Quirk.
The trailer introduces us to Peter Sutherland (Basso), an FBI agent who saves hundreds of people’s lives on a routine train ride. Peter sees there’s a bomb in the train, and thanks to his excellent vision, he stops the train and leads the passengers to safety just in time. As a result of his selfless deeds, the White House hires Peter and gives him the responsibility of staffing an emergency phone in the basement. Since the phone never rings, the labor is tedious. Even if it rang, Peter’s only responsibility would be to direct important calls to the group that is in charge of really fixing problems.
One evening, Rose Larkin, a helpless civilian, calls Peter (Buchanan). As Rose contacts Peter, a masked assailant starts attacking her, which prompts the agent to dash to her house and defend her. The White House charges Peter with the responsibility of keeping Rose safe at all costs, as he becomes embroiled in a complicated conspiracy involving individuals in positions of authority within the organization.
The newest The Night Agent trailer shows how assassins pursue Peter and Rose everywhere they go, forcing them to fight for their lives. The series will reportedly capitalise on the audience’s paranoia as there is no one Peter and Rose can trust while looking for the truth, in addition to having exciting action sequences.
