Foreign Minister and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari visited to Larkana to observe the 15th anniversary of the passing of his late mother, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
On the 15th anniversary of Benazir Bhutto’s passing, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto would be honoured, Bilawal tweeted upon his arrival in Larkana.
“Reached Larkana, tomorrow we will pay respect to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her 15th anniversary of martyrdom,” he posted in a Twitter video message along with his Twitter username. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided how to commemorate the former prime minister and assassinated party chair Shaheed Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto’s 15th death anniversary on Tuesday in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto.
At a public assembly at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh Bhutto on December 27, 2022 (Tuesday), the Chairman of the PPP and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Syed Yousif Raza Gilani, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Central leaders of the PPP will speak.

To attend the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto death anniversary, caravans of Pakistan People’s Party members and leaders have begun arriving in Larkana, Naudero, and Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
Meanwhile, on Monday evening, SSP Larkana and Deputy Commissioner Larkana informed the media that special traffic and security arrangements would be made for the event.
They claimed that more than 8200 police officers, including women officers, traffic police, special police commandos of the Sindh Police, and 300 Shahbaz Rangers members, would be deployed to maintain peace and order during the event.
Senior rank officials will supervise and monitor the activities in the surrounding areas of Garhi Khuda Bux and Naudero, according to SSP Larkana. Aerial surveillance of the area will be used to keep an eye on activity, and 500 CCTV cameras will be placed in various places.
Bomb Disposal Squad, bomb detectors, scanning devices, jammers, watch towers, and 80 walk-through gates with police vehicles and mobile would be set up on this occasion, and they will be supervised by high-ranking Sindh Police officers.
40 fire brigades will be deployed in various sites, according to DC Larkana, who also announced the establishment of a number of medical and other welcome camps. The medical team will also provide the public with access to prepared mobile hospitals and 50 1122 ambulance services, he added.
