Public gatherings banned outside courts: The federal government had to implement section 144 throughout the capital as a result of the devastation committed at the Islamabad Court Complex by the former ruling Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf.
Section 144 has been placed close to the courts by the capital administration due to security reasons. A spokesperson for the Islamabad Capital Police stated in a statement that protests outside federal capital-area courts had been curtailed.
Only lawyers and journalists will be permitted to enter courts due to strict regulations. The police helpline has been instructed to be called by the masses if they see any suspicious behaviour in the city.
Imran Khan and other PTI officials are being sued by Islamabad Capital Territory. The lawsuit is for damaging and vandalising the courthouse.
Many party members, including the former premier, were arrested on terror-related accusations of vandalism and hooliganism.
