Police and former prime minister’s supporters got into a fight outside of his Lahore home in Zaman Park on Tuesday as authorities tried to take the PTI leader into custody after issuing non-bailable arrest warrants for him in the Toshakhana case.
Subsequently, the news emerged a day after an Islamabad court gave non-bailable arrest warrants to Khan in connection with a case involving the selling of goods he received from the Toshakhana.
Furthermore, videos posted on social media show PTI employees throwing rocks at police officers as the security personnel clear the route of the demonstrators with water cannons and tear gas.
Therefore, PTI workers have blocked a number of roadways in Karachi, north Punjab, and other parts of the nation in response to a call for protest.
