RAWALPINDI: On Friday, Pakistan’s President, Dr. Arif Alvi, paid a visit to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi to meet with the officers and soldiers who had been hurt during the clearing of a Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) complex in Bannu operation that had been taken over by insurgents.
He spoke with the commanders and soldiers hurt while clearing the CTD complex in Bannu operation , and he spent some time talking to the hurt soldiers to find out how they were doing.
According to a statement from the military’s media wing, the President lauded their bravery and dedication in the fight against terrorism.
The day before, Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, also paid a visit to the officers and hurt soldiers at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared during his visit that the government will establish writ of the state at all costs and that nobody would be permitted to reverse the hard-won successes of the war on terrorism.
According to PM Shehbaz, the martyrs and their families made the ultimate sacrifices to ensure Pakistan’s citizens’ safety and security.
The ISPR cited the premier as stating, “We are resolute to battle out terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and breaking the link between terrorists, their followers, and sympathisers till we achieve peaceful and stable environment.”
The statement continued, “The writ of the state will be established at all costs and no one will be permitted to derail the hard-won victories of the war against terror obtained by unmatched sacrifices of the nation as well as the courageous military forces.”
On December 18, a terrorist who was being held at the CTD compound overcame a constable, took his firearm, and released 34 other prisoners.
