In the second game of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Peshawar Zalmi defeat Karachi Kings by two runs on Tuesday at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi.
Peshawar had the opportunity to bat first and they scored a whopping 199 runs. They then limited the home team to 197-5 in 20 overs, thanks to Cadmore’s outstanding innings and the bowlers’ excellent performance in bowling.
Imad Wasim, the skipper, and Shoaib Malik shone as Karachi recovered.
Khurram rose to the situation and showed skipper Babar that he could rely on him. He delivered an outstanding final over that secured victory for his team.

Needing 16 off of six balls in the last over, Khurram got things going with a well-placed wide yorker that cost one run.
The second ball, a nearly perfect yorker, caused the loss of a run.
Khurram’s third delivery was a no-ball, but his free hit was a solid one. In order to protect the score and prevent Imad and Ben Cutting from reaching it, the right-arm spinner kept his composure and bowled the following two deliveries in advantageous positions.
Imad, an all-rounder, put in a valiant effort to score an unbroken 80 runs off 47 balls, which included seven boundaries and four maximums.
After Peshawar Zalmi’s bowlers shone as they knocked out the opposition’s top order, Imad and Malik put up a 131-run stand to lead Karachi’s comeback.
Wahab Riaz, the former captain of the Yellow Storm, victimized Sharjeel Khan, and the home team lost its first wicket.
Later, Jimmy Neesham sent Pakistan’s teenage all-rounder Qasim Akram (7) and Australian hitter Matthew Wade (23) back to the pavilion.
Salman Irshad, meanwhile, took out Haider Ali, who had scored 12 runs in 10 balls, with his first pitch.
After losing four wickets, Karachi’s captain Imad Wasim and seasoned all-rounder Shoaib Malik took charge of the chase. They put up an outstanding combination to lead the team towards victory.
Wahab Riaz had the opportunity to dismiss Malik in the 17th over but failed to make the catch off Neesham.
Malik, an all-rounder, reached his half-century, but experienced spinner Wahab caught him behind in the penultimate over. This catch gave Wahab the upper hand.
Wahab’s no-ball on the final ball of his over resulted in Ben Cutting being run out unfortunately. The left-arm pacer made an outstanding recovery on the free-hit ball with a wide yorker, forcing the Australian hitter to remain at the crease.
Earlier, Tom Kohler-relentless Cadmore’s play enabled Peshawar Zalmi score 199 runs.
Cadmore and captain Babar Azam helped Zalmi get back in the game after losing two quick wickets.
The fantastic show put on by the English batsman included 92 runs off 50 balls, seven boundaries, and six maximums. This performance was a significant contribution to his team.
Cadmore struck three consecutive maximums against Imad, the captain of the Kings, and Babar displayed incredible talent in hitting boundaries.
Babar joined Cadmore, and he scored his 24th PSL fifty by hitting seven fours and a maximum.
A big 139-run partnership between the two batters kept them at the wicket for the third wicket.
Imran Tahir sent Babar to the pavilion after he had scored 68 runs off 46 balls, breaking the partnership.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa took the crease after Babar left the field. However, he got dismissed after scoring six runs off of six deliveries.
Mohammad Haris welcomed Mir Hamza with a boundary after Mohammad Amir gave up two boundaries in the opening over, but the left-arm bowler bowled an inswinging yorker that trapped the young wicketkeeper batsman for an LBW.
In the same over, Saim Ayub was dismissed due to an unfortunate run-out. This happened when Babar’s straight drive hit Hamza’s hand before tumbling the wickets at the non-striker’s end.
