Revised Schedule: New Zealand Cricket Team to Tour Pakistan for T20Is and ODIs
PCB changes schedule: The New Zealand men’s cricket team will tour Pakistan next month for five T20Is and five ODIs, according to a revised schedule released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday.
The PCB claims that the board and New Zealand Cricket mutually agreed on the scheduling changes for the tour.
The team will now land in Lahore and play three T20 Internationals from April 14–17 before moving on to Rawalpindi to play the remaining two T20 Internationals and the first ODI from April 20–26. Therefore, The final four ODIs will mark the conclusion of the tour. Additionally, They are scheduled to be played in Karachi from April 30 to May 7.
The New Zealand cricket team is taking an additional tour, and they will use the games to determine the ICC Team Rankings. Pakistan will receive assistance from the ODIs to put together their team for the ACC Asia Cup and the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, while the T20Is will help the PCB to continue putting together the team for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The USA and the West Indies will host the T20 World Cup in June/July 2024.
