According to Foreign Minister Bhutto-Zardari, Iranian women are supported not just in Pakistan but also in Iran.
The minister claims, Afghanistan’s money is frozen and its financial systems are restricted, making progress on women’s rights impossible. Foreign Minister of Pakistan Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari lauded Iranian women who were protesting for their rights in the nation on Thursday, calling them “extremely brave” for using nonviolent protests to further their goals. Since the passing of Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old Iranian of Kurdish descent. Iran has been engulfed by enormous protests that have lasted almost three months and are officially referred to as “riots” by officials. Three days after being detained in Tehran by the nation’s morality police for allegedly violating the Islamic dress code for women, Amini passed away while in police detention on September 16. Authorities in Iran adamantly refute the reports that Amini was tortured by Iranian police after her death under unexplained circumstances. Young women’s stubborn protests that included several of them burning their headscarves in public went viral on social media. The demonstrations are thought to be Iran’s clergy’s greatest test in a few decades. After hosting the Ministerial Conference of the G-77 and China in New York, the foreign minister stated during a news conference that while Pakistan does not encourage riots or violence,it does support Iranian women’s nonviolent rallies. “The Iranian women are incredibly brave for demonstrating in their own nation. And we are not the only ones encouraging them; Iran itself is as well,” Bhutto-Zardari remarked. “When we look at Iran’s history. We can see that Iranians have demonstrated great political courage through their activism and protests on several occasions.”
