Islamabad: Pakistan and Kuwait will sign seven Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for $10 billion in investments across various industries, including mining, food security, and the environment.
Pakistan and Kuwait ink seven MoUs: In this context, the federal cabinet decided to sign seven memorandums of understanding (MoUs) when Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Anwaarul Haq Kakar visits Kuwait in the near future.
A statement stated that both nations would sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on a number of projects, including the development of water reservoirs, mining facilities, the preservation of mangrove forests along the coast, information technology, and food security, as a result of the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) efforts.
The members of the cabinet and the acting prime minister acknowledged the efforts of the SIFC and the relevant ministries.
In order to ensure early and equitable project execution, the prime minister, who presided over the meeting, gave instructions to guarantee cooperation with the provinces.
Additionally, the group approved the decisions made by the Economic Coordination Committee on November 15, 2023, and the Cabinet Committee for Disposal of Legislative Cases on the November 14.
