LAHORE: Nawaz Sharif, the leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN), filed his nomination papers on Sunday for NA-130 in Lahore.
Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers submitted: Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers were sent in to the Returning Officer by PML-N leader in Lahore, Bilal Yaseen, who has been covering the candidate in the seat.
On Tuesday, December 26, Sharif has been called in to have his candidature documents examined.
In an interview with the media, Bilal Yaseen stated that Nawaz Sharif would run for the National Assembly from the Mansehra and Lahore constituencies.
On Friday, the party filed Sharif’s nomination papers for NA-15, Mansehra. Captain (retd) Safdar, with Returning Officer; Barrister Jahangir Jadoon; and former federal minister Sardar Yousuf.
Maryam Nawaz’s nomination papers for the Punjab Assembly constituency PP-80 in Sargodha have been filed by the PML-N. Sohaib Barath, the leader of the local party, filed nomination papers along with Shahpur’s RO.
People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has travelled to Shahdadkot in order to present his nomination papers for NA-196. He will travel in a convoy from the Degree College Ground to the RO’s office.

Additionally, in Lahore, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will submit his candidature paperwork for NA-128. Qasim Gillani, Faisal Mir, and Chaudhry Aslam Gill will present the nomination papers for the PPP chairperson.
It should be noted that Asif Ali Zardari, the co-chairman of the PPP and a former president, has filed his nomination papers from NA-207, Nawabshah.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, a PPP politician and former prime minister, has filed his candidature papers from NA-148, Multan.
Additionally, Ahsan Iqbal of the PML-N has submitted his nomination papers for NA-76, Narowal. He is also a candidate for Zafarwal, seat PP-54 in the provincial legislature.
Khurram Dastagir, another prominent member of the PML-N, has filed his nomination papers for NA-78, Gujranwala.
However, The nomination papers of Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui from NA-249 Karachi have been submitted by MQM-Pakistan. Further, On behalf of Khalid Maqbool, Tariq Mansoor Advocate filed nomination papers with the returning officer.
