The Cabinet Division gave the written information about the ministers’ international trips during the National Assembly (NA) session.

Last but not least, Sherry Rehman, the federal minister for climate change, spent more than Rs4.917 on her travels abroad.
The National Assembly (NA) session has been suspended in the meanwhile due to legislators’ disinterest and absenteeism.
The issue infuriated the deputy speaker, who claimed that the parliament cannot be operated in this manner because ministers do not attend.
Also, the joint session of the parliament’s timetable was modified on Monday. An announcement has been made in this regard, and the session will now take place on March 15 at 4 PM.
“MP Alia Kamran Raises Concerns over Crimes Against Women in Islamabad during NA Session”
Alia Kamran, a member of parliament, brought up a notice during the NA session presided over by Deputy Speaker Zahid Ikram Durrani that called attention to the rise in crimes against women in Islamabad.
Unfortunately, neither the interior minister nor the interior minister of state were present in the house to respond.
The attention notification was therefore delayed until the minister’s arrival.
Khurram Dastgir, the energy minister, was scheduled to make a motion, but he was also absent from the chamber.
The deputy speaker voiced outrage about this and stated that this was not how the meeting could be run.
The NA meeting was then put on hold for an extended amount of time.
A measure to create the Kalam Bibi International Women’s Institute was introduced in the house during the session.
However, Ghous Baksh Khan Mahar emphasised that the nation is experiencing financial problems despite spending Rs65.2 million on travel abroad.
The deputy speaker sent the issue to the relevant committee for clarification.
