One of the first Indian celebrities, Madhuri Dixit, has added her own flair to the remixed version of the song Mera Dil Yeh Pukare Aaja that went viral last month after being performed at a wedding by a young Pakistani woman named Ayesha.
The iconic song, which is the most recent to appear on the actor’s Instagram account, was originally featured in the 1954 black-and-white film Nagin.
The actor sang along while dancing in her vanity vehicle while wearing a sheer beaded sarhi. She largely follows the dance’s original moves while incorporating some of her own flair.
Mixed reactions were given to Madhuri’s dance; some admirers thought it was “killing” t” and called it “superb”. However, one fan shared, “Why are you copying others step, u are the Madhuri plz don’t.”
