In preparation for their forthcoming exhibition game against the Quetta Gladiators squad, which is set for February 5 in Quetta, Peshawar Zalmi has named Kamran Akmal appointed as their team’s head coach.
In an eagerly anticipated game, Akmal will serve as coach. He was not selected for the eighth season of the PSL.
Inzamam-ul-Haq, a former Test cricketer, will sit alongside Kamran as the team’s manager.
Shahid Afridi, Wahab Riaz, Danish Aziz, Mohammad Haris, Saim Ayub, Sufyan Muqeem, Salman Irshad, Usman Qadir, Azam Khan, Haider Ali, Aamir Jamal, and Usama Mir will be on Babar‘s squad yellow.
Umar Akmal, Bismillah Khan, Saud Shakeel, Ahsan Ali, Abdul Wahid Bangalzai, Naseem Shah, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Hasnain, Khushdil Shah, Umaid Asif, and Omair Bin Yousuf make up the Gladiators team, which will be led by Sarfaraz Ahmed.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will stage an exhibition game in coordination with the Baluchistan government. It will serve as a lead-up to the forthcoming eighth PSL season.
The illustrious competition will begin at 11 a.m. (PST). This game will be broadcast live on PTV Sports.
After so many years, this game will be unique in cricket-starved Quetta. Within two days, all available tickets for the game were gone. Fans formed lengthy lines to pay the meagre price of PKR 20 each ticket.
