Gold rises in Pakistan: Gold was still shining for the second day in a row as the per tola price increased by Rs2,300 to reach Rs209,900 on Wednesday.
According to data from the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), 10 grammes of 24 karat gold cost Rs178,241 after going up Rs1,973.
The price of gold surged by $10 per ounce to settle at $197 on the international market, continuing its upward trajectory.
In the meantime, the cost of silver in the domestic market remained constant at Rs. 2,250 for a tola and Rs. 1,929 for a gramme.
