Azam Khan, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa interim chief minister, has gone away.
CM Azam Khan passes away: When he became sick, he was brought to a private hospital. After both the opposition and the provincial government unanimously selected him for the role, Khan took the oath of office as the chief minister of KPK in January of this year.
Khan was a Charsadda member who had previously held the position of Finance Minister for KPK from October 24, 2007, to April 1, 2008.
In addition, he continued to the serve as chief secretary in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) from September 1990 to July 1993 and as secretary of the petroleum and natural resources ministry in Islamabad.
In the meantime, President Dr. Arif Alvi sent his condolences to Khan’s family in a statement on X, expressing his profound sadness.
Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, the acting prime minister (PM), expressed sorrow on the CM’s passing and described the deceased minister as “an honest and good person.”
Along with expressing his sorrow, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori prayed for the ranks of the departed.
